SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Please note: due to the volume of local Canadian playwrights that have submitted and SST’s goal to grow theatre in our community, we are not accepting submissions from outside of Canada at this time. Preference will be given to playwrights from Simcoe County and Ontario. Please continue to check this page to see if this changes. Additionally, royalties will not be paid for any submission.

 

Original sketches, monologues, short or full-length plays accepted for consideration. Please avoid submitting musicals, works with large casts or anything technically heavy that would not translate well in a staged reading.​

 

We are using a blind submission process. Please do not include your name or any other identifiers on the attached script; however, please include your name, address and any other pertinent information in the body of the email when submitting.
