Our Vision & Mission

Vision Statement

​The South Simcoe Theatre aspires to create exceptional and diverse community theatre experiences (both plays and musicals) for its members, its audiences and its partners throughout the Greater Simcoe County area.​

​Mission Statement

This Mission Statement is a living document that reflects the current membership’s objectives for productions and activities throughout the operational year.
​
The current membership supports:
 

  • The production of a diversity of musicals, plays, family entertainment and a play reading series that all respond to the interests of our community

  • The offering of a variety of workshops in several disciplines related to performance and production in order to enhance our current talents, and groom new talents

The South Simcoe Theatre recognizes that it is necessary to direct greater effort to improving the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility and Representation in our membership, our programming and our audiences. We resolve to consider, more broadly, all our members and audiences, and to actively reach out to members of diverse communities within the Greater Simcoe County area and encourage them to become involved with SST as members, productions teams, casts and/or audiences.
